My work has become a journal exploring a developing relationship with somewhere I had a lot of misconceptions about.

As an outsider I thought I knew something of this place and yet each time I visit I feel the thrill of exploration, the fear of the unknown, the discomfort of being an outsider and the certain knowledge that I do not know what makes this place tick anymore than the last time I was here.

This series is a collection of research drawings, mixed media, photographs and paintings.
